Don't know much about the Slingerlands, but those beautiful Rogers look like the Xp-8 series, rogers was still innovative at that point, they were the first all maple shell on the market. The xp-8 series was introduced in 1979 8 ply no rerings, 45 degree bearing edge. The natural maple finish on your kit was offered in 1979,and continued through at least 1983 and were gone by 1987 when Island music bought them out,and the product was made entirely overseas. Those look like they have been very well taken care of .If you could give the sizes and serial #'s that would help getting a closer date.I will tell you that natural maple finishes and traditional sizes are the most desirable of the 70's 80's kits.
