A quick search on DFO revealed some positive stuff. I had forgotten that he posted over there using a different handle. I'll give it some bought before pulling the proverbial trigger.

Hey, I've never bought anything from him... but have sold him some cymbals. He was opening up a 2nd shop at the time. Got my money, the communication was good, etc. etc...

Zach (Stewy at DFO) is cool, just tough to reach sometimes. Pm me for his direct info. I just bought a lovely drum from him. He is a very nice guy and the deal was extremely pleasant.

Zach is a very good person with whom to deal. He usually returns emails within a day. He now operates on West Coast time.
