Gretsch "Pratt" Internal Bass Dum Tone Control Installation? HELP! Last viewed: 1 day ago

I am cleaning up & restoring a 1981 Gretsch "Drop G" badge kit and was wondering if anyone has any photos of a Pratt BD Tone Control installed so I can see how it goes together. And also do you need the thicker felt strip that these usually came with?

it's a 70's model, so not sure if the same build, but still a "Pratt".

I think you could probably replace the felt, the plates are what keep the strip in place, and then the adjustment buries it into the head.
