Gorilla Super Glue Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Yesterday, I glued an old nylon spacer/grommet together with Gorilla Super Glue. The piece was from a late seventies P85 strainer from my Supra ( my pride and joy). It had broken in two simply because of age. I was taking the P85 apart for cleaning and oiling because I was trying out a P83. That's when the calamity stuck. Because I had heard that this glue bonds nylon, plastic and rubber, it was the agent of choice. Today, my old spacer is as good as new. I'm sure it will last for another thirty-five years! Tighter than a Buddy solo! This stuff might be great for any type of plastic or nylon on leg tips, adjustment knobs or practically anything else. I just wanted to let you guys know that this product might actually be worth the few bucks it costs. Hope this is helpful.

I think it is indeed helpful, specifically because nylon and plastics like it really do seem like materials that are difficult to bond with glue.

So.....well, so there. :)
