The kit has been recovered and all the tom mounts and cymbal mounts have been plugged so the drums are all virgin. The rims are all new and the lugs and tension rods are also modern. I'm using all modern Sonor hardware with the kit. The toms are from a Telstar kit and are conical. I do have a Telstar kit that is all original including all the stands and I play out with it too. Those Trixon stands were very clever but they do slip a little.

Too bad about the bag. I ended up using a 28" marching bass bag as it was the only thing that I could fit the bass drum into. Maybe I'll have to learn how to sew.

Oh yeah, I'm in SoCal.

Awesome set you have there!!. My Telstar is WMP that has faded a bit and I'm actually tempted to recover, but I wont.

I play a yellow sparkle Trixon Telstar set live. I'm looking to buy a Speedfire set for myself if you know of any for sale.

Thanks,
Jim
