glueing some foam in my drum cases Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hey everyone

I want to glue some foam inside my drum cases, but I don't know which glue I have to use to get it done. My drum cases are from the british manufacturer 'Hardcase'. They are made out of some kind of very hard plastic.

Do you guys know what kind of glue I could use?

I used spray adhesive. Sprayed it on the foam, and then on the inside of the case.

double-sided tape could do the job if you can't get a hold of spray mount glue.

3M is the way to go. As long as you don't use a 'solvent' glue, or anything that melts the material to create the bond, you'll be fine with the 3M spray.

I bought cases without foam for a reason. I use bags. Drum in the bag, bag in the case.

I used to use Hardcase cases. I'm sure they had foam strips laid in. Anyway I found them far to heavy and bulky to work with so I sold them off and got Protection Racket soft cases. Never looked back. They do a ribbed version these days if you want extra protection.
