For Sale - Vintage Trixon 1950s in white marine pearl for restoration project Last viewed: 1 day ago

Hi

i have a Vintage Trixon 1950s in white marine pearl for sale for a restoration project. I think its the Luxus O/200.

I have the bass, floor tom, tom and snare and various extras. The wraps are in an ok condition but the whole set needs a good clean and overhaul. Its been in storage for a long time now. Would love it to know its going to a good home!

I have attached a few pics but can provide more and will try to answer any questions that i can.

I thought i would put a shout out here first before listing in ebay.

Thanks

Tony

HI there

Thanks for your message.

It does include all the stands - I do have photos but I could only put up 5 photos unfortunately. I have a few spare parts too that I will include.

This is a restoration project for someone - so it will need some love and care but nothing too major I dont think.

I'm based in the UK I will factor in shipping costs to any offer made really (though you are welcome to collect -I'm in London) and take it from there.

Please feel free to ask any other questions

How much are you asking w/ shipping to the U.S.?

You have to "guess" how much he wants by submitting offers

Okay, I'll play...

I'll guess that you'll take $20.00 delivered to my door in California...

Now, you guess when I'll pay you.

When can I expect shipment?

I don't understand why it is so weird to expect someone to PM and make an offer on something that you have available for sale. If one is looking for a Trixon kit like this to restore wouldn't you just open a dialogue with the seller privately and figure out a price that both can be happy with?

Chiding people for being open to a reasonable offer/being unsure of what to outright ask for something seems kinda mean imo. If you are just "window shopping" then whats the difference if there is an asking price or not? You aren't going to buy it anyway.

Just my opinion. Not trying to ruffle any feathers...I just hate it when people get "ganged up on" here for pointless reasons.

Sorry to disappoint or offend some of you and not put a price up - to be honest I wasn't sure how much it was worth and as Adam kindly says - I am open to offers.

All you have to do is ask huh!?!

Its a little sad that you can waste your time posting these petty messages but are not able to make an offer if its something you want.

Anyway - thanks for your time.

Oh and atlfire- I have pm'd you back - sorry.

On these odd outfits that there is no reference for estimation of value, perhaps the best resource for finding out a rough estimate is this forum's members. I recall a great amount of discussion of Trixon outfits and their value in the past.

Maybe just asking the forum members here would be helpful?

You can then choose to follow the estimates or not?
