SOLD! Thanks all!

For sale is a Vintage 1970s Pearl Chrome Over Brass Snare that was found new old stock, still in a clear plastic bag. Superb, all-original, like-new condition. I believe this is the same type of snare that Stewart Copeland favored in The Police. It was only wiped down gently after getting it in.

Asking -$345.00- NOW $295.00 or best offer plus actual shipping to the continental US only. Please PM with interest. Thanks and have a great day!

Yes, That is a 4214 model that Stewart Copeland played & my favorite snare (& I have owned a lot of snares!). Great crack, which is not surprising, but the bottom end is quite surprising. Someone will be lucky to buy this NOS one!

I couldn't help myself...I did 3 gigs this week with mine: klezmer/world thing, blues/rock & a funk/soul gig. Actually it's the only snare I've used for indoor gigs since I bought it, with the exception of another Pearl COB snare, a B-714D. This one was an 80's model and deeper, but I actually was getting more bottom end out of the 4214, so I sold the B-714D.
