Finished my Slingy kit...well almost Last viewed: 5 hours ago

This is my Slingy kit that I've been working on. I'm missing the 18" crash and I may add an 18" floor tom, but this is the kit.

I think it turned out well.

The bass (20") and mounted tom (13") are from the same set, 1964. The floor tom (16") is probably 1966 or 67 and the snare is 1965 COB. All brass and black badges.

The rack mount is new and the cymbal stands are all new.

Wow it's beautiful and love that's it's proudly displayed in the living room in front of the fireplace - I'd leave it there through the holidays.

Those came out great. Black diamond pearl is such a classy wrap color too. Very nice! BTW hope you can find a 18" sometime that fits your budget.
