Very nice!

I like the idea of the glitter reso head, add your tag ala Buddy Rich style to match the wood.

THANKS TO EVERYONE for all the feedback as well as the suggestions and recommendations to improve the appearance of the kit. I appreciate your time!

mcdrummer / JRichard: I love the idea of the custom and/or green glass glitter reso head. The "tag" to match the wood also sounds interesting. Unfortunately, when I looked into it the cost was somewhat prohibitive for my budget. I had actually found an image of a classic car in a green clearcoat that I thought would match up nicely with the wrap. My plan was to have the image pressed onto a bass drum head and have a port hole installed in one of the "headlights." However, I couldn't justify the cost. If you know of a source that might have a custom head or could create one to match the wrap (at a reasonable price, of course), I'd certainly be interested. BTW........I'm not a fan of the ebony heads by any stretch of the imagination. The one currently on the drum was an "excess" piece I had lying around so I mounted it with the intent of switching it out sometime in the immediate future.

lucky / BobbyBoyd: I'm still laughing at your comments regarding the throne in the pics. I can assure you both that it's more "show" than "go". I feel your pain just looking at it! I have no intention of actually utilizing that piece (lol). I got it years ago with an early 60s Slingerland kit I purchased and just threw it in for the pics.

I'm not much of a wrapper, usually I have that done professionally by Jack Lawton..But it gets pricey.
