I WAS referring to the drum. I've always referred to it as "She", in part I guess because, like a good woman, she's stuck with me through thick and thin for over 30 years. That ought to at least earn "it" a title - she went a lot further with me than my first wife. :)
As for my daughter - I was fondly referring to the past - she's now about to turn 17 and I did this restoration to be able to pass it down to her - a much better player at 16 than I was at that age!! And someone who will truly appreciate it, and who will (hopefully) someday teach her own kids on it with "This was your Grandpa's favorite drum".
