I sold the Downbeat right away...Im puzzled with the 14x18 Bass drum...Its a preserial but has white interior, also has the double tom holder shell mounted bracket (the older version)... You guys even heard or seen a Jazzette with two racks?...Or was the single tom holder available this early?...questions and more Coffee Break2questions...

most, but not all, pre serial bass drums had clear interiors. but floor toms and ride toms had gone to white resacote interiors during the pre serial period. the 18 bass might have white since it was also a floor tom size in diameter. hard to say.

the rail consolettes were the only single tom holders during that period. the dual hollywood mounts first surfaced during the trans badge era 59ish.

Is that an 18" RK tom? It looks like it would match my new addition.
