Here are the pics of the kit requested.

I will be selling this so is the best place on this forum, Ebay?? I would love for them to go to someone who appreciates them. My brother was the only owner.

What do you think the value is in this condition.

Thanks

OK, next you need to learn how to use the private message system, because someone probably wants those. The whole package will be somewhere around $1200-$1500, but better to consider splitting it up.

Thanks for the estimate of what they could sell for. I am checking PM's and will get back to to anyone sending them ASAP. I have someone taking a look at them locally as well.

Selling them on this Forum is the best place...No fees to pay and an almost guarantee that they will be looked after...

Cheers

Don't be a fool and split those up. Yes, more often than not, you can get more more for splitting them up. But you end up selling a few things while sometimes getting stuck with other things. And it can take a while to move them. If you do split them up, leave the drums themselves together and sell the cymbals on their own. It's quite a nice matching kit with a snare and that's getting harder and harder to find. Yes they are a bit dirty, but it's all complete with a logo bass head to boot. I agree that 1500 would be good. 1200 would be a "priced to sell" price. Although the market is weak right now and people are being cheap. I personally feel it should be worth a little more than that, but you gotta be realistic. But I guarantee someone will want those as a whole. You can also try the other drum forum http://www.drumforum.org/ Lots of collectors/players over there as well. Good luck!! That is a nice kit worthy of good care that doesn't need a lot of repairs to make nice.

Wow, like I said in the beginning. I really know nothing but this is a great forum. Very helpful people here who obviously have a true passion. I learned a bit and based on Jason's reply, would love to keep them together for someone to enjoy.

I have received some offers, some to split, some together. I do think $1200 would be fair but the hard part is finding someone local.

Thanks again, very much appreciate the advice.

Please don't split them. It might be worth a few dollars more but then the story of the drums are killed. Make sure they do to someone who will appreciate them.

I know it sounds crazy these things are getting more and more rare. We need to keep as many original and complete kits as possible.

Quite nice condition by the way. Just need a little cleaning up IMO.

I agree with all who are saying don't split them up..For a few extra dollars, it's not worth it..As Mr Lud, said, they're getting more and more rare in this condition, and as complete as your kit.. Your kit is almost showroom, museum condition.. I'm no Rogers expert, but you've get a great piece of Rogers history, and a handsome one at that..

Good luck with your sale, and i hope that everything works out ..Keep us all posted ;)
