Dynasonic Snare Frame Question Last viewed: 2 days ago

Loading...

I just bought this snare bridge for my 7 liner.

There is a phillips screw which obviously not correct.. There is also another hole to the right of it. When the phillips is tightened all the way down it will sit on the lip of the frame.

I have a PS 1416

My questions are does anyone have the correct screw or know where I can get one... and what is the purpose of the second hole to the right. Will the phillips being tightened all the way down cause a problem since a part of it will land on the lip

Thank you

That phillips screw does not belong there at all. Someone drilled an extra hole for it.

There is a special flathead screw that goes into the other hole. You can get that screw from Al Drew's Music in Rhode Island.

Also, please show a photo of the other end of the frame.

I`ll let DanC get back to you with great info on this one, but that slot scew on the snare wire tentioner at the butt side doesn`t look correct.

I'm not sure that is the original screw, but it should work fine. Only thing to watch for is that it doesn't stick up so high that it contacts the head when the frame is pulled up.
