Dynasonic COB hoops?

Does anyone know if all Rogers Dynasonic's came factory-equipped with COB hoops? I have a ca. 1974 Dynasonic, and the hoops don't appear to be brass (a magnet sticks to them).

I'm not sure if someone swapped out the original factory COB hoops for chrome-over-steel at some point, or if '74's might've come from factory that way.

Any info will be much appreciated.
