Hi forum, does anyone know of a good Drum repair person or store in NYC and surrounding areas? I just need to repair my Slingerland 20" bass drum hoop and also have it painted. Any help is great.

Maxwell has a great repair shop. not the cheapest but very good!

Check out the Long Island Drum Center in Nyack. I know the owner, great established drum shop and excellent repairs with reasonable prices. Good people.

If you want to take a ride north of NYC, Precision Drums is about an hour or so North of NYC in Pleasant Valley on Rt 44 off the Taconic Parkway.
Take a ride up and introduce yourself and drop off the hoop. Reasonable and very good work.
