So a "drum set-$30" ad on CL of course peaked my interest. 1 hour later I'm in Bow,N.H. loading up the car. I did give the lady an extra $10 for holding them. 10/12 1983 Imperialstar 2-headed toms, 14" 1966 Slingerland marching tenor drum, 6/8/10 Roto-Tom set, 20" Hoshino (probably) BD, various stands and cymbals. The Tenor drum is tough, but certainly has possibilities. Two of the cymbals are a matched set of 13" hi hats, no markings-cast, not pressed. Let me know if you see anything you can't live without...Ugh,I wrote "advanture"...

Zsa Zsa Gabor would tell you, "Don't vorry about it Dahlink, at least it vas an advanture for -you-!"

Not a bad score of 'drum stuff' for $30!
John
How much for the plow?
Just kidding, nice score for 40.00. That red bass drum might be useful. I have some red sparkle mij toms that need a bass drum.
Thank you!

Slap you in your face sweet! LOL
That poor cop. I'll bet he didn't know whether to $hit or go blind when she slapped him. I imagine he laughed it off. It had to have been a funny scene. Tiny, silver haired Zsa Zsa smacking the stink off of a big, armed, LAPD cop!
Now that was an -advanture-!
John
Eva Gabor was Lisa on Green Acres, not Zsa Zsa. Cmon man!
Thank you!

Apologies to teverson for the hi-jack!
I think we're all 'showing our age' by even knowing who the Gabor sisters were! LOL

I went to a very nice Japanese drum site on FB, and the red sparkle BD in the picture matches what is listed as a '72 Star exactly- T- rods, plastic hoops and all.
Pretty nice score there. Wow plastic hoops on the bass. I never would have guessed. Interesting. I thought they were all wood or metal depending on the year.
