Don't You Hate It When.... Last viewed: 54 minutes ago

You ask a seller if there kit is still for sale and you get no response. I mean it's common courtesy to at least say, "Sorry, the kit has been sold or is no longer available." Especially when there initial post is still up and running. I answer every message that I receive, even if the item has been gone for months.

I think it is sometimes a case of someone who becomes less active and checks for responses less frequently.

I think in general people (some) have poor manners and they just dont want to take time to communicate. You know it takes a very, very long time to email somone,, ah,,ya. Even with the modern use of text messaging these lazy folks can't take the time to write a complete sentence or even spell out simple words. It drives me crazy too.

Hate when it is sold as well and they don't take the ad down or modify it to say it is sold. Once it has been sold, most likely they don't bother to open the email.

Of a CL ad that has been edited to say SOLD without deleting it instead of edit.

I think I've left ads up on Craig's List once or twice, but remembered after a few days.

Maybe they are still in shock that they sold the kit.

The MORE annoying thing is when people reply to your ad with, "Is this still for sale?" I ignore/disregard those e-mails because they're always spam. If you're not going to leave a name or number or any indication that you're an actual human (like, perhaps, a second sentence in your e-mail...), why respond all? Perhaps I have missed maybe 1 actual person out of 500 replies? No regrets. If you're a serious buyer responding to an ad, or just want to tire-kick a bit and talk drums, PLEASE type more than, "Is this still for sale?"

Dont forget that some people are just plain ignorant. They may be nice in thier own way but when it comes to displaying a little class they just dont have it in them.
