I'm in a conversation with a person who believes Ludwig only made the teardrop shaped tilters for the 1400 stands. Having owned more than a couple dozen 1400 stands in my life with both teardrop and round tilters, I know they exist. I've also read threads where knowledgable folks discuss the authenticity of Ludwig's round tilter version of the 1400 stand. Right now I'm looking to move the conversation past conjecture.

Does anyone have a Ludwig catalog scan showing the round tilter on a 1400 cymbal stand? Or know of an article from a respected vintage drum historian that dives into the timeline of production variations in the 1400 model stand?

It would be just the thing to set the record straight.

Any help is much appreciated by me, and probably a few others out there!
