I dealt with them once in the past. Not a good experience. I ordered a specific model of single bass pedal that they claimed they stocked. I went with them because they had the best price with shipping. Well....when I got the pedal, it wasn't the model I ordered. In fact, it wasn't even the same brand! They did a substitution without contacting me to see if it was ok to go ahead and substitute! When I called them to find out what had happened, the guy on the other end told me: "yeah, we're out of that model and I don't know when we're getting more. So we upgraded the order to a better pedal for you. Is that a problem?"

Hell yeah it was! It wasn't what I ordered, and I didn't want the one they sent. If I did I would have ordered it! They sent a return tag a few days later and I got a full refund including shipping. I told them thanks for contacting me and asking me if it was ok. Then I had to explain the concept of sarcasm. DOH

Like the old saying goes.....never assume.....etc, etc. DOH

I found the pedal I had ordered from them originally on another site. They matched Midwest's price including the shipping. I've been dealing with them off and on for a few years now. Midwest again? No way.

I won't order from them any time soon!!! It sounded like they made the decision for you, and that ain't cool. Sounds like their modus operandi (or it is operandus?).

Thanks for letting us know that these people don't care about their customers. I will steer clear.
