Some of the stuff posted the past 48 hours by senior members is unworthy of this fine community.

this was self deprecating humor. the joke was stated and then it was directed at me. see, it's a piece of software for jerks and it's precisely those jerks who don't buy it. by saying 'strangely enough I don't have a copy', meaning I'm the jerk being pointed out here and I'm oblivious to being the jerk. it wasn't an insult to anyone else. I just thought this thread could use a bit of levity. made me laugh. heck, it was more of a challenge than slamming others ... and much more fun.

Yes... it was, and still is, a very good forum longjohn. It was only a few days ago in another thread that I spoke of WHY these "discussions" take place. Again:

MANY members now.. ( over 9,000 ) .. with a higher than usual influx of NEW personalities, all enjoying the repartee that goes ALONG with it. With this many people "discussing", well there's bound to be some brush fires, so to speak. It is a public forum, open to all. This is still the best vintage drum forum out there!, but we have taken a few more black eye's as of late, but that isn't to say these types of "discussions" haven't happened in the past. They certainly have, and with some of our original members, of which some are still here. You know who you are! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And with that,
