i think we should report bad deals so as to keep the forum great and to always give the benefit of the doubt but if it's not working right maybe now as a post people who are strange in A BAD WAY will move on

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

If people would just post feedback right in the for sale thread, anybody in the future who may be dealing with a seller for the first time will have feedback from past transactions to refer to. I make it a point to ask my buyers to please post a comment/feedback for me in the item 4 sale thread for the express purpose of establishing a good reputation for myself as a seller. Honest traders/sellers will not have any problem having their transactions reviewed by the people they do business with.

I encourage it. Start leaving feedback for every purchase made in the forum. The good/honest traders will be easy to spot (by the positive feedback comments) and so will the bad ones!

I have bought 2 complete drum sets from 2 fine folks on this forum. One from overseas and one interstate. Couldn't have gone better, I'd rather buy here than e-bay or elsewhere.

cheers!

All of my transactions (from my point of view) have been great on this forum. There's some pressure in shipping vintage gear. One has to make sure that the drum set/snare/cymbal/ or part gets there with ZERO damage. You have to make it idiot proof. Communication is the most important.

Now, I would have to say Old School has sent me the best emails on this planet about possible trades. I'm talking about trades that could get me kicked out of the house. I'm smiling right now, big time.

This was a good thread started by jaghog. I wish we did have a feedback section for deals made through the forum. I recently had my ss# and identity stolen and have shut down all of my internet banking/ paypal and so on. So now I am forced to make a purchase with a personal check or cashiers check. Thank goodness for a handful of guys on the VDF that will accept my "old way" of payment. I will mention there names with their permission. I know that 90 percent of the guys here are good honest people (like myself) and would never think about screwing their fellow members. But it would be nice if there were a page somewhere that list the bad guys. Just a thought.
