This is yet another of my friend's drums that I am selling for him.

It looks a lot like a 1946-48 set that Mark Cooper posted a while back, except his are restored and look awesome.

I was thinking it was from the 1930's but now I'm not sure.

I took the head off and found some stamps that look sort of like date stamps. The clearest one is "1140" and also " 1 41" and "1?841".

Do you suppose those are inventory stamps?

Those are dates. Leedy often put multiple date stamps and I believe they represented the date that the drum was wrapped or painted, another meant when the drum was finally assembled. Not sure why a third date, though. Yes, these are from 1941.
