wow im in shock,, it has the drop gate in hoops the crimped snare beds and a welded seam but took rims off and low and behold the same supra white metal showing under some small pitting this really sucks should of known by weight now what its just another ludaloy shell with crimped beds,oh well shat happens

However I was playing the thing for like fifteen years before I even knew. Still the best snare in my arsenal. Shelly Manne be damned.

I'd keep it & sell your '68. This one's a rarer snare. You'll get a fair price on the newer one, rather than getting ripped off on the non-COB..........marko

the problem is it on f- bay now i guess i could end action early and no reserve it is a sweet drum maybe even the first one because of the weld showing
