Yes, I can vouch for mcjnic, he definitely has split personalitiesEye Ballx-mas3

Absolutely NOT! I have "multiple" personalities ... all of which are likable and moral ... which is more than you can say for that single sickly one you drag around. x-mas2

At the bottom of the Forum's home page it tells you who is online at any given time. Some of the subjects on this forum do get a lot of disagreements and its pretty fun to get involved in one of those. Its been sorta quite around here lately. I wish olugs and Ludwig dude would get into a good ole heated argument!! Be careful what subject you start. if you post something about non vintage drums the Bailiff will wack your p p!!!

Hmmmm instigating now Poppy? That's a 5 minute major penalty in the NHL you know....Laughing H:DLaughing H

oh yeah! Things have been pretty quite around here for some time now.

Except for the occasional post about something that doesnt pertain to vintage drums, then some get a little riled up. The moderator hasn't had to step in and close a discussion in a long time!! LoLoLoLo

It's weird, because there's all these new ways for people to discuss all the other "issues" in life...forums, email, telephone, FaceBook, Twitter, etc.

But even with all those other available options for discussing trivia or world affairs or personal grievances, some people will still continue to come to a VINTAGE DRUM forum and use it, instead.

It's human nature, I guess. We're all drummers, so that's the foot in the door to start interacting, here. Beyond that, it's a matter of how well our parents raised us, as to how we handle ourselves outside of that common interest.

Most of the other drum forums I know about end up being like coffee clutches of people who discuss drums as an aside. Often, they are stages for people to market their new wares. It makes me appreciate the straight-forward, ON-topic, information-based threads and posts, here, even more than ever.

I understand that nobody's perfect, in that (or any other) regard. I can only speak for myself when I say that I joined this forum to discuss vintage drums with people because I love vintage drums...and I'm going to try and stay focused on that....

....you bunch of goofballs! :D

I find a complete 5 piece ludwig drum kit that needs some TLC on cl for $75.

I get so excited about it I just have to tell someone. My fiance' dont see the beauty in it till i get it all done. my friends dont really care either, but you guys are my rock when I need to tell about my new find. I buy it, restore it, recondition it, and rebuild it and make it a piece of music history or just plain ole instrumental art. With this forum I get to share my passion with others that have the same passion. My fiance' is all about facebook. She lets me know when I get a email from the forum and this forum is what I'm all about.

You guys are all great!!! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it! Excited
