Rainbow's "On Stage" has always been a staple play-along for me. Great, great album. Have all their albums. "Tarot Woman". RJD kicks butt on that one.

Then there is this clip, drums come in at 2:16. Looks like the same drums that he used later with R-bow. Always loved this guy!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5ID15mv0gA
Awesome! Love Cozy's kit and JB's Strat. Love JB! But that's gettin' away from here.

Going down Man that is what rock and roll drumming is all about Cozy hits hard for a traditional grip ....
I have to agree with all you guys...RJD kicks a$$!! Elf, Rainbow, Sabbath and of course his solo career...I believe I have dio`s entire catalogue on CD...I wouldn`t give it up for the world!! RIP...
Cozy is a great drummer...RJD has played with some phenominal drummers over the years...
Starstruck!!
Cheers
Long story, but I was doing a little research and found this:
http://www.cozypowell.com/2011/11/cozy-powell-documentary-under-production/
My good friend Paolo Sburlati has Cozy's kit in his house along with the famous Custom painted one for Ian Paice with that super rare 10x16 rack tom! I always tell Paolo that he should write his testament soon and state that those drums should be passed to his friend Vinny Galarce from California ...just in case (God forbid) something happens to him...for some reason he just doesn't listen to me.... Laughing HLaughing H
That Cozy documentary is really something to look forward to. I just hope it dosen't turn out like the Randy Rhoads film which was never released.
