Ok, so did 60s Ludwig drums ever come with brass hoops or were they mainly steel? Slingerland, I think, had some brass hoops in the mid-late 60s. What do you more savvy guys know about this? Also, what is the likelyhood of finding brass hoops for a 12 and 14, both 6 lug? New only come in 8 lug for the 14" drums.

Through mid 65 COB hoops, then changed to COS..can find any size needed just have to watch out for them on eBay or place an ad here in the wanted section. They can be pricey depending on condition.
