Hey, I'm "gearing up" for this Christmas Season and will have several sets available over the next few weeks. Here's what will be available:
1) 1970s Refurbished Pearl Wood-Fiberglass shell pack. Standard 22/16/13/12 sizes, new Chrome (PVC) wrap. All hardware is correct to the era.
2) 1970s Refurbished Pearl Fiberglass shell pack. Standard 22/16/13/12 sizes. I haven't ordered wrap for this one yet, so if you're interested you could pick the wrap. All hardware will be correct to the era.
3) 1970s Refurbished Pearl Wood shell pack. W-5 model, standard 22/16/13/12 sizes. As #2, I haven't ordered wrap yet. Most of the hardware will be correct to the era.
4) Ludwig Jazzette Reproduction shell pack: 12x18 BD, 8x12 and 12x14 toms. This one's still in the bare shell stage, so if interested you'd be able to have a lot of input.
5) Slingerland Jet Reproduction shell pack (yes, this is a different one from the one I did earlier in the year! See that one here: http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=27163): 14x18 BD with stick-savor hoops, 8x12 and 12x14 toms. As #4 above this one is also still in the bare shell stage, so if interested you could have a lot of input.
6) Ludwig "Ringo" Reproduction shell pack: 14x22 BD, 9x13 and 16x16 toms. 60s BOP wrap, but also in bare shell stage. All hardware will be correct to the era.
7) SEVERAL Refurbished entry level sets available: Standard size shell packs for the most part: 22/16/13/12 or 22/16/13 or similar. Made from shells from various makers, mostly MIJ or MIT. Real PSA wood veneer wraps, natural finishes.
And, if you're looking for something in particular PM me: I've got much more and just haven't sorted through it all yet!!
My prices are reasonable and negotiable. You can check me out here on VDF and on eBay (same username). Please PM or email me if any of this strikes your fancy.
I'm just getting a good start on a current Drumline order for a 2-year college, but I do have the flexibility with that order to work just about anything up to the top of the list (they're needing these for, get this: basketball half-time shows!). Yes, I do school marching drums as well and have a fairly large inventory of marching equipment.
Sorry, no pics available for this post at this time. However, I can email you pics if you're interested.
Thanks (and an early "Merry Christmas!"),
Bill
