Have you guys seen this? I didn't see any posts about it.

Chad Smith's other band is playing at half time today and has a special drum set with logos of AFC and NFC teams on the drums. The drum set will be split into two sets, AFC and NFC, and auctioned off for make-a-wish. Clapping Happy2Clapping Happy2

Right now, more than 75 bidders have driven the prices for the kits to $9,025 (NFC kit) and $12,525 (AFC kit). You can also bid on the Super Bowl XLVIII-logoed drumsticks Chad Smith will use for rehearsal and for the performance.

I'd rather have Cheerios-Corn Flakes-Raisin Bran etc...Cereal Bowl...A Japanese drum company builds the Super Bowl drum set. Meh...

Really, what does that company have to do with US football?

I doubt you would see a US built Lud set at a high profile Japanese game....

It looks very similar to Louis Bellson's 47 Gretsch kit, with that super deep tom in the middle.

Yes,it does..but Louie would never play anything so fugly and gaudy....

Can you tell I have great disdain for P. drums?

I tend to agree on the sentiments about the brand but the proceeds are going to Make-A-Wish, which is cool.
