One of my sons friends sees him every now and then. If you don't get a answer here I'll see if he can ask (and remembers!) next time he sees him?

That kit was a mongrel kit.The bass drum was a vintage 26" Leedy that Carmine found in a store in Upstate NY I think, and he covered it himself,or more likely, had it covered in red sparkle.

I also remember him saying he had a Gretsch kit at one time, but I don't think that was the one he used on the Ed Sullivan show.I'm pretty sure I see Ludwig lugs and a keystone badge on the 13" tom.

The snare he was using, I think on the Ed Sullivan show was a 14x5 Rogers Dyna-sonic.

The two Ludwig toms were 13x9 ,16x16 or 16x18

I'm not sure about the cymbals,so they could have been either Zildjian or Paiste.

This was the kit he was using actually before his Ludwig endorcement deal. When He got that deal is when he got the 26" double bass monster in thermogloss maple and a 14x6.5 LM 402.He also was using Paiste cymbals at the time since Ludwig was a distributor for Paiste, the cymbals came along with the drums.

John Bonhams first Ludwig kit as an endorcer was a exact copy of Carmines.Paistes and all,but Bonzo used Rogers hardware with a Ludwig speedking pedal.

Sorry mate.....got a little of track there.Cheers
