Soap BoxThe guy in question that lives in port hope is a scammer and he know he's a scammer that plays with words when he get's called out or caught , he just burnt me bad on a 6.5 supraphonic "junk" trade for some mint rogers dynasonic early holiday parts , the guy is a member here and i will call him out when he post . He also has burnt one of my big Quebec customers with one of his infamouse wood dyna's the guy is a total scumbag with no shame If i would have known about this guy i would have never have traded him those dyna and rogers part's cause i know know that he is going to build one more fake to take avantage of a vintage drum guy that would love to have a real wood ds in his collection . One day W/H is going to burn the wrong guy and he's going to get more than just leagle troubles on his hand's , karma has a way to pay guy's like that back i just hope that i get to read about it .

Hey, Rene!

You know I'd cover your back anytime you asked. I even helped you track down this scumbag several weeks ago. What I'm going to ask you as a friend is this: please do not post any names. People like this have no honour or scruples. They would be the first to cry to a lawyer and charge you with slandering their snow white name! There are other ways, my friend.

You say this "gentleman's" initials are W.H. I knew a Wayne Huston years ago but, he died. I found out this bad news on myspace. Guess it couldn't be him. Oh, by the way, Rene, do you still have those "big sound drums" for sale? I think you mentioned that they might be Rogers. I'd sure like to trade my old Stars for something that would deliver a "big sound''!

Anyway, I certainly Port Hope that you and people like RIMS n SKINS never have to encounter scammers and thieves like this again!!!!!

My brother you do have a way with words. It's because of scum bags like that , makes me work harder to keep my honest drum shop going on right path , As the owner of ksp i will never sway in trying to make a fast buck on a scam and blame some poor drummer that it was his! fault that he did not understand what he was getting . He's now been black listed from my shop and 3 of my friends that own honest shops in ontario and Quebec .

This just in from Justin Nelson:

Kona

You don't know my story with the dynasonic snare drums, I bought them from an old man in Port Hope Ontario... His name is William Houston, His ebay id is blueonyxkit . The guy has a ton of vintage rogers gear. He conned me and I fell for it!

I got them for a great price and thought I got the deal of a lifetime, now I have the biggest pain in my ass to deal with.

I'm an avid drummer and just love gear so I constantly buy and sell... it drives my wife a little nuts but it's my hobby. I have fun playing different kits all the time!

As soon as Harry told me it was a fake(three weeks after he left me positive feedback) I told him I would do my best to re-fund him all the money and I just did, I just wanted to make sure the drums made it home safe first.

Now I'm currently trying to re-turn them to this crook in Port Hope Ontario....I've done some research and you can see on the forum that you're bashing me that people have dealt with him and fake wood dynasonic drums.

So please, before you write on VDF make sure you get your story right, you've never dealt with me before. I asked if you would sell me your gold sparkle set and we chit chatted online about vintage drums - clearly we both love old tubs!!

Leave me your phone number if you're posting my full name online, I suggest you contact me ASAP to avoid further action.

**Just read this from our local Kijiji..

Its from the same guy i wrote about here..

I'm cutting and pasting his ad...

"Con man justin keeps buying drums kits from me knowing full well what they are. when he sells each one he blames me for what he already knows about them. he knew about the first one the second one and then the third one. each time he sells them for thousands of dollars he says they were his fathers kits left to him. Harry Cangany emailed me back after i contacted him. about the bass drum. he said it was perfect. but the snare drum sold for 500 to justin was not a real one. well it was never sold as a real one. he knew it and sold it as a real one because he could blame me for it. for justin it is the perfect crime. he can blame someone else for his wrong doing. he is the real criminal and i am now out to prove it and sue him for slander. and wrongful lies. he thinks he can do anything by blaming someone else for him trying to get away with fraud. he is so stupid he thinks it will work. if he had a brain he would have never opened up and started lying about what took place. he is a criminal fraud. not me i sold drums and always at a price that they cost me. take it or leave it. must see. in person. not 3000 miles away. if i have so many happy people out there. at least they know they got what they paid for. and some actually try to sell them on ebay for thousands. they are criminals becasue they know what they have and done't care. if they can fool most everyone then take the chance and take a couple thousand. or more. i see this and say nothing while all this is going on. this guy simply bought the drums for resale and didn't do very well. he is a lazy seller and is stupidty shows through in the listings. not only that he sold one of the kits to one of the most famous american vintage collectors. this guy Justin Nelson of Nelson Brithish Columbia is so stupid. it makes me laugh"

As i wrote eariler...

This man can not be trusted..around here..

He's been selling knock offs for yrs..

And Several of us locals know he's very tempermental/rude and always paranoid..

As for the kid from B.C....?

I write about what i know and can prove.!

Doesn't this bloke "William Houston" have a recording studio as well?.I've NEARLY dealt with him when i was looking at buying Rogers gear , he sells to a store in South Fremantle Western Australia called 'At large Music store".He Enrico Fazio then sells them for a $1000 AUD or more over &above what they cost him! :(.

IF you listen to William he'll tell you that Enrico ALWAYS ripps him off &underpays him(William) each &every time! :(.THE ONLY reason i didn't deal with him(William) is that i changed my mind &bought a Ludwig Centennial kit.He claims to have hundreds of Rogers kits in various configurations colours&sizes!(i've actually seen pics he's emailed me of his 'collection").To me personally he seems like a decent&nice bloke NOT a crook at all! :).He was going to allow me to pay off the kit in instalments so at the time i didn't question his credentials NOW i'm NOT so sure! :(.

Enrico Fazio..

Interesting..

If you see my post under "Rogers WMP 26" kit"..I mentioned that I sold a kit to a guy who sold it to AU..

I believe that was the guy who bought my 26" BDP Rogers kit ".....

after all the ebay ripp offs like 350 dollars i sent to john grossi, he sent nothing in return except to say ha nothing you can do about it. or blain matera, i sent him over 300 for a floortom, nothing ever sent. ha. so many times i was robbed. descriptions and ratings of quality like mint condition or near mint. used by newbees. when it should be fair to good. very good condition should be nice looking mechanicly excellent. when selling to a newbee it is a panic when they think very good means in 50 years it looks out of the box nice, new. well all this about fake dynas. how much were they sold for? $2500. usd.? that is what they are going for. for near mint ones. and $1500 - $2000. for nice ones. junkers still hold out for 700 and up. i imagine just getting nice parts for them costs alot. me i would buy a dyna copy for 500. since the parts alone are close to that amount and play the damn thing. looks good sounds good. what the hay. i don't have $2500. for a snare drum. let alone a whole kit. i bet there is more going on here than it may seem.

I too had words with John Grossi..

I decided not to do business with him at the last second..

He then sent me several/several of disturbing emails..

As for Wild Bill...He has @ 8 to 10 kits at his place that i know of..

I guessing that most of the shells are counterfeit..

He recently put up a kit to sell..(LA Camco's) with no price..

I inquired (didn't notice that i was using my wife's email address)..

and he responded back with a great price..(1966 3piece 20/16/12 and 14 wood snare..his reponse was..."Is 500 to much".?

When i responded back...i was using my email address...

He avoided me for 4days..then when i responded to one of his other ads (under my unknown email address)..he emailed me back / i asked him why he's not returning my emails...(answer/ there was a death in the family today / odd because he relisted about 10 of his ads about 4 hrs ago

..(that takes about an hr of yr time).

So, he's not selling them anytime soon (as he put it)..

2 days later there being offered at $2000.

Now $1700...to any uneducated buyer.....

I need a score card to keep all this mess in line!

So, William in Port Hope, Ont. makes fake Dynas, & other fake shells, sells them to Justin in Nelson, BC, and Justin knows they're fake Dynas and shells, cause William told him so & Justin sells some drums to Harry as the real deal, with Harry discovering they're fake.

There are adds now on kijiji w/ some parties squaring off,

Yikes!
