"Rare" Buescher snare drum from the early 1900's. Buescher, primarily known for their brass instruments, also made drums. However finding one of these scarce snares is not an easy task. 3X16" Chrome plated brass shell-- wooden hoops with chrome plated brass overlays. 13 double clamp thumb screw lugs. "The Buescher Elkhart Ind." scrolled etching surrounds air hole. Original in very good condition, including wires and bottom calf snare head/batter head is new. Modern 16" heads fit this snare!! Includes strap holder mounting holes in rim, designated for marching use back in the day. Mount no longer there-- but could be fashioned again. BEST REASONABLE OFFER takes a drum that surfaces once in a blue moon. Central Jersey Shore.
