Dear vintagemore2000,Each shell has blaemire tag inside shell. previous owner was friend with al and al told him it use to be his kit as he was the only one with 2 vent holes. No reason for owner or al to lie as. previous owner is a pilot and has delt with many drum companies and players over many years.I have no reason to lie as I make the same percentage if it sells or not. I can only take the honest word of owner about the history. There would never be a certificate as the history has no real meaning in price there for not worth lying about.It sound like Jenkins lied to a few people about many kits just to make top dollar. previous owner treaded over 5000 worth of drums for this kit.I have no Idea how someone can start a lie years ago and then complain about it when it is passed and blame the innocent. I have sold many gretch round badge kits for 3000 to 5000 and they are not worth it. but no one complains. people buy chevy and doge products all the time and think they are driving good vehicles, People shop and walmart all the time and never complain the the 2 cents they save has destroyed the USA and other countries.All I do is sell products for my customers and ALL I can do is list it the way they want. No one has proven to me that this kit is anything other that what owner has told me. I have owned and sold over 1000 drums and you can never now the whole history unless you picked it up from factory. I had Dolly pardons studio kit I found in a church in a small town where a guys dad had worked at the studio years ago and bought it. no certificate or forms just honest words. years after I sold it the new owner found a photos of dolly and there was the kit behind her. I have a set that chico hamelton designed with gretch. again no certificate. its not an autograph or anything they though would be of value later in its life. then we found a photo of chico with the kit.I have over 100 Ludwig snares some very rare with no history or certificates. my prices r always better - a.l.b.earth

How did we go from proof of provenance,to pleeding innocent,to Gretsch kits not being worth 3-5,000,Walmart destroying the US and other countries economies,to a kit found in a church,that Dolly Parton sat behind(I'll bet that went for a mint),to a custom Chico Hamilton kit,Rare Ludwig snares,and his prices being ..."always better".A bit extemptoranous...no? Typical carnival barker,flim flam man,that resorts to misdirection when he gets caught in a lie.He tries to confuse an dilute the situation by saying ...."who ,me"? and feigns innocense,and then tries to say ,the original and true sourse of information,is lying,and openly insults the mans integrity.This guys name needs to go up on the wall of shame,on every single drum forum we have acess to.He dosen't like being raped,and will file charges....for what ?
