January 1970 supra and a vintage premier picalo with chrome over brass hoops. Best snare drums I ever owned and played!

This AK might be one of the best made snares. Love to try one some day.

One of the best made and sounding snares I've ever played is this 6.5x14 Spizzichino.

I'm drooling all over my keyboard! I love the throw-off on the Spizz!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I bet those two sound amazing. I loved the sound and response I got out of my world max black dog- wish I hadn't sold it, even though I know it's a vintage 'knock off' so I would love to be able to afford one of those 20s, 30s Ludwig nickel over brass snares. How old is the spizz is it vintage?, I've never heard of them, only maybe cymbals.

Roberto made a handful of drum sets. No sure when they were made. Extremely rare and obviously not cheap. All that I've seen are 18/12/14's with different depth 14" snares. The snare pictured is part of a matching kit that cymbalsmith Matt Bettis once owned. Thanks to Matt I had the use of it for a month or so. A one-off work of art, built like no other kit I've ever played. Sold last year.
