Are there any differences between the beavertails found on toms and the ones on bass drums. I ordered 6 from a guy on ebay for $13 and the spacing said 1 6/8" (I'm assuming he isn't aware that that's the same as 1 3/4") but it didn't say what kind of drums they came off of. I'm ordering these to use in place of some B&B holes on a 22" kick, so I'm going to have to do some filing for them to fit anyway, but I wanna know if I should avoid lugs that say "floor tom lugs" or "rack tom lugs" or if they're all the same. Thanks.

Whose beavertails?
What are you filing? the lug boss? heh, yer gonna regret that. And if you are elongating holes...... well thats a whole other issue.
But ...
Rogers BD beavertails are larger than tom and floor tom lugs.

Ah sorry. Rogers beavertails. I was planning on elongating the holes. What's the spacing difference on the holes between the tom lugs and the kick lugs?
Tom lugs have a lower profile than bass lugs (on almost all brands). This is due to the difference in hoop profile alignment.

Hmmm fingers crossed that the ones I ordered will work.
