Beautiful Ripple Rogers for sale near me

Here's one that popped up in my local ads, about 2 1/2 hrs from where I live. No affiliation with me, but I thought that it's worth sharing seeing how rare this one is. Translated, the ad says:

"Vintage 1969 Rogers drums (Holiday, show room). In Perfect shape considering that they are 47 yrs old , all hardware is Rogers .Impeccable Dynasonic snare , original Zyl hi-hat & crash-ride . Collectors kit!"

Now, I'm assuming Zyl means Zildjian & not Zyn by the photos. I can usually spot the nickel alloy in Zyn's from afar & to me they look like old A's.

Like I said, not mine, but if anybody is interested I could help with translating etc..

Rare, yes, considering that Sky Blue Ripple was discontinued in the Cleveland era and was not offered as a catalog option during the Dayton era. Custom order?

And the set comes with a solid footboard Swivo pedal, along with the original swan-leg cymbal stand and H.H. I think the seller's asking price comes out to be about $1500 U.S. Not a bad deal considering they look pristine.

If that's that worse thing about the whole deal, you're doing pretty good!

What's a bridge? $100?

Look at the one on Reverb and what he's asking!

Yes, Steel Gray Ripple would make more sense, but boy does it appear bright blue in those photos. Must be a color shift from the flash.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
