Bearing edges

Loading...

The bearing edges on my 64' Ludwigs are a little rough.

Tuning is of course a problem but I can't afford to have them recut at the present time. Would double ply heads be a bit more "forgiving" than my current Evans G1's ? They really don't sound bad now but tuning is a huge headache and it takes tons of tweaking and re-tweaking.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have. Damon.

Until you can afford to have the edges properly re-dressed, this may be a viable solution.
