Barrett Deems WFL snare

Loading...

Hi everyone here is a WFL snare I picked up a couple of months ago. I also picked up a 3x13 piccolo snare with a keystone badge. Ive been playing both of these snares with my jazzette. Ive also found some Ludwig flat base stands and a WFL flat base hi hat stand to go with the jazzette. All i need is some original Ludwig floor tom legs so let me know if anyone has a set for sale. The cymbals are 50's A Zildjian thin hi hats and 18 inch thin crash. The ride cymbal is a 60's A zildjian 20 inch rith rivets.

Wrong Hi-Hat stand for that time period though. I have the one that would go with your set if you want it though.

Very nice Jazzette! What is it date stamped? 1969? My jazzette is a 1972 and I use a 1972 matching jazzfest with it. The pic shows a 1966 jazzfest but I sold that one and got a 1972 to replace it! I have thought that it would be cool to have one of those small metal piccolos too though.

Is your barrett Deems snare the 5x13? I have a blue sparkle one from around 1954. Great drum!

Nice jazzette kurt and my jazzette is stamped 1969. The Barrett Deems snare is 5x14 but i havent measured it might be 5 1/2 x14 didnt they make one that size. The piccolo drum is cool but not my first choice to gig with but someone told me those drums have the same shell as a supraphonic anyone know if that is true?
