Wow! It could be a "Duo Jazz" kit.

The angle of this photo is slightly deceptive. Could this possibly be a 20" bass drum? If so, then the mystery is solved (kinda). :)

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Nice kit ! If the price is right I would jump all over that. Yes, that pic may be a little decieving. What size is the mounted tom. From the angle it is the closest drum and seems to be larger than it probably is. I bet it is a 8"x12".

Get the owner to measure it and let us know.

From O-Lugs

BTW....Upon closer look, that mounted tom, in the picture appears to be a 13" tom. (Larger lugs). Is that correct?

Later 8x12 toms like the 6-ply shown did have the large classic lugs fitted as standard. How do I know its a 6-ply? The badge corners are rounded instead of pointed. ;) While not a "true" Jazzette like the ones from the 60's-mid 70's, it could still be considered a "jazzette" if the sizes are correct for what is shown in the later catalog offerings......

This is true. I hope, in fact, it turns out to be a Duo Jazz, though, because I've never seen one before.

Wow, lots of help and mystery here...

I was able to confirm the shells are 6-ply with an 18" bass drum. Kit includes the nice Supra shown. $1850 is being asked. Kit was bought & used awhile then put away until now. What do you think? What about the finish, same as the Mahogany cortex of the past?

if that be the case 850 is too much for the mismatched kit but could be a great player if price was right

That's way to much. I would never pay that.

Then "No thanks" is the answer.
