I've been on Roundheadstudios site a few times, but last I looked,no mention of the BDP RK set!

Cool they made it into a video........set is circa 1948........

Neil put brand new calf heads on the kit too from Rob Cook, who doesn't live too far away from me,so that worked out good.............

I told him how I heard from so many people that they sound best with calf,so he went for it,and I just added the heads to the 32-32-22 custom made double wall cardboard box I ordered!

FINALLY.....

I was able to watch the video!

Yup...that was my kit!D' Drummer Cool1

It's on YT already........and you can click to make it full screen.......much better!

Also,at 1:12 and again at 1:26,there is a China in the song, and I believe it is the EAK 17" Prototype I sold him along with the kit,and some 1930's and 40's A.Zil Splashes..

No logos from the factory saying "China" or size on it,but K top and bottom,no serial numbers.

It was the best China I have ever heard......

Very Charlie Watts like..........

Sounds like he is playing it right side up...I played it upside down a la Billy Cobham.

Anyway,thanks Andrew for the heads up!Clapping Happy2

it's certainly is a cool kit Blair. He's obviously decided it's too good for the studio.
