I have an Asba. Took this pic in case you don't have any reference.

Diameter of Fat end is approx 7/16"

Length of Fat (with the hole in it) part is approx 1/2 " and that is one you got to match so it tightens into bracket. Approx 1/2 ".

Threaded rod is approx 3/16" diameter and is approx 13/16 in length.

Hole for beater rod is approx 1/4".

Of course the original parts are probably all metric, but these sizes should work.

Threaded shaft is 6 MM 1.0 Pitch. I checked it at OSH.

You could make one out of a steel joiner clip OSH. (steel dowell with a threaded hole in center)

1/2" by 3/8" or 1/2" long. The hole is threaded but you could drill it out if you need to.

Drill and Tap the end of clip with 6MM 1.0 thread. Cut off a 6MM 1.0 bolt and thread in.

Test length of dowell and grind off until Beater rod fits snugly. Taking the threaded bolt out each time you have to shave the dowel.

I have an Asba pedal with the part you want, but other parts are missing. I gave up trying to put it together because I've been happy playing my old dw. Between the two of us we have a complete Asba pedal. If you are interested, I'll take a photo and post it. Let me know!
