Maybe you could prevail on Joe Pollard's good graces. Pollard stopped by Donn Bennett's in June:http://www.facebook.com/notes/donn-bennett-drum-studio/blog-2-syndrum-inventor-joe-pollard-stops-by/10150225971144090He's in business these days selling Checker cab stuff, there's a contact us at his company's site. Here's the About US section:http://www.checkerparts.com/content/view/13/28/"Joe Pollard, owner of Checker Parts, Inc., has been a musician for most of his life. He rode in hundreds of Checker Cabs while performing on the road as a drummer..."And finally, here is somebody walking through the controls in vid, might be some use:http://wn.com/Pollard_SyndrumPatrick

Hmmm so yall think it would be ok to just contact this super famous guy and be all like "Hey got a manual lying around? Or maybe a PDF?"....hahaha Ok maybe I'll try that...hmmmm. Unless I can somehow managed to find a manual in teh storage locker...THanks!

I was following this Syndrum auction last month:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170649612291+&clk_rvr_id=238747866858&clk_rvr_id=246506537969

I seem to recall that a similar set sold for quite a bit more in the spring or last fall with this youtube vid at the time. Very cool vintage gear.

One guy is selling a used syndrum quad unit on ebay for around $2400. I can't say whether or not that's the going rate.

Yeah even thought the price is so good *cough, read good* it's not what people want to pay apparently. Which is fine, I can just sit on them till I get a serious buyer...but I still want to learn about them in terms of the manual haha. And if I'm not mistaken, that guy that listed that doesn't even have but the machine brain...right?

Nope.

This is a time to BUY, not sell. Sit on that unit and enjoy it, I say.

Yeah, pretty much. Doesn't hurt asking, and it is a legit question. My experience on similar quests has normally at least elicited a polite answer.
