Look up the guy at My Old Kentucky Drums on ebay. He has all the parts for that mount.

From KapperDog

Has anyone dealt with DrumsOnsale.com? Any feedback?

I order from them pretty regularly, in large part because their web site sells almost every item down to the nut & bolt from the Ludwig parts catalog. I don't even own a Ludwig drum, but a lot of those parts like "crutch tips" for feet are pretty universal and a lot of current Ludwig hardware replacement parts are interchangeable with other brands.

Delivery isn't always the quickest, which I presume is because a lot of the odds & ends I buy probably aren't regularly stocked. They seem to get them in from Ludwig or whomever pretty quickly and then re-ship them to the buyer. When placing an order from them, I figure it may take 2-3 days longer than other sellers. Seems like a fair trade for the convenience of being able to point-click-order just about any part I might need.

I have had a few minor problems with order accuracy (like getting an Evans Strata 700 head instead of a Strata 1000), but not enough to send me elsewhere. Mix-ups have been pretty easy to resolve via their web site.

Cool, thanks. I placed an order with them. We'll see how they do.

You're sure right about them having a nice selection.

FWIW: I have a Ludwig double-tom mount on my Slingerland BD. Discovered some of the same recently (drums have been put away for awhile): toms resting on the BD, no memory lock. I fashioned a memory lock out of my motorcycle parts box - but then the toms spun around in the breeze. Couldn't find a memory lock with the lower flange to fit into the recessed portion of the tom mount - so - dug thru another parts box for a thin piece of strap steel. Bent it slightly to match the curve & shaped it/thinned it down on the grinder - then slid it up under my memory lock so it's clamped to the mount shaft. It fits down into the mount - but - now the tensioner plate on the front side of the pole don't fit down into the mount hole, too. Oh, BTW, the "nut" the tension bolt fits into was wallowed out and not doing much. Took it out & filled hole with liquid steel, then drilled it out & tapped it for the "nut." Back to the parts bin - found a real thin piece of spring steel - fashioned it to match the tensioner plate, blew some holes in it with the drill press for the black-handled T bolt - wah la - it all fits together tightly - the toms are up off the BD, & life seems good again. Vintage drums - shopping for the parts is the toughest.

Does anyone know if the mounting holes on the P1216D mount will match up to the old springer type FT mounts on clubdates? I'm looking of a reversible alternative that is easer to set up and tear down....Car Driving2

Thanks,

No. Spacing is different. I feel your pain, though. I gigged with Club Dates for a few years.
