Put today those heads on 12&16 Ludwig 3 ply from 69....
MAGIC! And tuning is very easy.
I recommend!

I second the recommendation! I've had only one set of Aquarians in the last 10 years that didn't tune up very easily (I haven't played any other head in that time)...and Roy Burns personally sent me replacements, he's a top-notch businessman! I've been amazed at how easily all of the other sets of Aquarians have tuned up.
As for the Modern Vintage mediums, I put them on my DW kit and they sounded great! I have just put the American Vintage mediums on my "new" old Slingerland kit. I haven't dug into them yet, but they tuned up easily and sound good so far.
I'm no guru, just a vintage drum junkie!
