I'm guessing between '54 and '61. Matching 22" bass drum and 16" floor tom. Sadly the rack tom is missing.
Any Guess on the year of this Gretsch?

It looks like 3-ply? Are the other drums 3-ply and do they have natural interiors or the Gretsch Silver Sealer?
You should be able to find a rack tom in this wrap.

Hi Tim,
Yes they are all 3 ply, natural finish interior. I can't find any sign of a date in the snare. I haven't seen the bass or floor tom in person yet.
That would be great if I could find a matching tom!
Thanks

I would suspect prior to about 1954 based upon the lack of the silver sealer.
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

Yup. First half of the fifties.
Yes. Between 1950 and 1953. My '54 has the silver interior.
Is this a Broadkaster set? Also, is that size strainer normal?
Thanks

Yes it is a set of 54 Broadkasters that came from the factory with calf skin heads and retrofitted (probably at a drum shop) with a heating element inside the snare drum. That might be what you're seeing. I'll include some more photos.

so here's the million dollar question... what do you think the kit is worth? Snare is all there, 16" floor tom similar condition, 22" bass drum has been drilled/retrofitted with another tom mount which has two small screw holes. Missing the rack tom. Also slight crack in the bass drum inner ply. Not a real collectors piece but definitely not a parts kit.
Thank you!
