Thanks to all that have looked at my post. It is disappointing that so far no one can tell me anything about this drum. Should I add different pics, or other information? My post in the only one that hasn't received a reply. HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello all!

I purchased this drum recently in a small town in NY. I know nothing of drums, but couldn't pass it up.

I was told by the seller (his friend actually owned it) that is was a Leedy from the 1800s. There is no badge, or other indentification on the drum. My research has come up fairly empty, though I did find one bass drum on the Leedy web site that looked pretty similar.

I'd like to know as much about this as anyone can provide. I haven't seen any of this size and type on any sites I've looked at.

The drum measures 8 3/4" x 24 1/2". I hope the pictures tell the rest, but I'll be happy to answer questions to the best of my ability.
