Another fantasic night Last viewed: 6 hours ago

We had another huge crowd at Holsteins in Tinley park sat night, 3-1 girls to guys which made it lot better !!! Its sooo much better playing to a crowd of people and seeing them dancing and having a good time.. long night though 10-2 am, but we got paid $800, (I still don't understand how you get $$$$ while having the time of your life LOL)

this Sunday we play at Montrose Harbor on Lake MI, and we are getting a grand for that gig...

my wife really knows how to get even with me for being out late, by the time I got done packing gear and an hour drive home, its was 4am, so what does she do? she gets me up at 6am and tries to seduce me, well guess what? she knew I'd be worthless LOL...

Oh boy , well at least the thoughts what counts

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

6 am seductions on a weekend morning are always the best.

Weekdays? Forget it. You're tired all day at work :)

So much for Afternoon Delights being the risque moment. Now it's the crack of dawn. A lot has changed since the advent of vintage drums.

I agree that it is far superior to have people dancing. Always drives me nuts playing while people sit at their tables. But the numbers tell the story; 3-1 is great odds for dancing!

Plus they paid!
