Another Camco 24" No Re-rings!! Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Loading...

I posted a long while back about my Oaklawn 24" find that had no re-rings.

I'm not sure if the link there will work, but there are pictures of mine on that thread.

There was another member with one, and now I found this one on e-bay. Here is a picture from the post, and an Item number, but I couldn't get the link to work correctly there. Item number 110983588990

It would seem that three might lend to a new possibility of no re-rings on a 24" oaklawn.

Yes that makes 3 24s without re-rings that we know of. Dave the seller said his set came that way from the factory. I will post some pictures of mine tomorrow morning.

Here are a couple of shots of the Oaklawn 24" I have in Walnut Stain that doesn't have nor need re-rings. One of 3 now known to exist.

Gentleman,

I know I'm extremely late to the party, but I think I have something that will pique your interest. My Camco Oaklawn Walnut Stain with virgin bass. 12,13,14,15,18,24 and 5x14 COB Super 99 snare. Rogers Swivomatic tom mounts, with matching Rogers double tom stands. Also, I have 2 camco cymbals stands and snare stand that came with the kit. The Kick drum also does not have re-rings. This kit has the factory heads and is in great shape. I was told when I bought the kit that the guy custom ordered the kit from the factory(Original owner). This kit has basically been preserved in time. Never gigged out, always left in his basement. Pretty remarkable, right?

8 lugs each side on a 24" bass drum?

I have a 22" with 10 lugs each side but never seen a 24" with 8.

Most 22" have 8 lugs a side and 24's have 10.

Crazy huh? I really tried to get the full story about these drums, but it was a daughter selling them for her dad who had a stroke. I really wish I could have got the full story. Such an enigma.
