Acrolite Love- Fest! Last viewed: 2 hours ago

From Sanityclause

Both my parents went to that high school! My father was a studio drummer in NYC after he graduated. Perhaps you'll get lucky again. All beautiful drums you have there. SC

Small world! I lived in Bay Ridge where Ft. Hamilton H.S. is located for many years. PM me your dads name, I might know him. I'm 66, we're probably from the same generation. :D

Keep the great photos coming!

robyn - Your Acro (the one you got from me,) is an early 70's - I think 71' - made drum. It has the early 'pointy' B/O badge and the coated shell. It's in really nice condition too. I really liked that one, had a great, throaty crack to it. Hope you're enjoying it.

John

Glad it arrived today John. Looks great with the others. Glad that we've been able to keep this one in the family. I just checked. Ive got 16 acros right now and each one is different. I do have pics of all of them too. Just not one pic all together. My favorite snares by far. I still have a few more that I want to round out the collection, newer ones.

Mine isn't anything special as far as collectabillity. In fact i ignored for years until i found a sweet spot with it. I'm super picky with my tuning. I bought it at a goodwill fifteen years ago for 7.50$. Now i love it. My go to practice snare.

Mike - You don't need no stinking permission to post in -any- of my threads. :D

> I want to round out the collection, newer ones.

The only one I'm eye-balling is the new 6.5". That one is on my list!

E-D - That's a nice Acro and for $eben-fitty? Score!

Geez Mike, if that's just the beginning, (and I really want to see the rest!) you have everybody here beat, hands down, in the Acro dept. :p

Please... keep them coming! Great drums, I always love the photos by the fence post! You get nice clear shots that show off the drums in great detail.

> BTW, It is 73 and sunny in Cali today.

F'k you, Scott! It's -14 below zero with the wind-chill factor here in PA. I'm coming out by you!

John

PS - If you ever go to sell that keystone 10-lugger, please contact me first!
