I have been using 640 x 480,and was wondering if I would get better resolution using the 1600? Can I even post that high?

Thanks!

I've been able to do 1024x768, but I doubt you could go any higher.

I use Adobe Photoshop to resize down to 650 in width and let it keep the height ratio the same.

I know not everybody has acces to that... but there are some free online photo-resizers available. I'm not sure (without taking the time to look) at what the maximum is on this site, but 650 has worked well for me.

I shoot all my picks in 1600 but then downsize to 800 to make them internet friendly..... 1600 would be a b____ch to load for someone with dial up or slow connection and would eat a ton of bandwidth as well..
